A journey through atomic Moscow, football billiards, and a battle of orchestras - in honor of City Day, "ATOM" has prepared a special program for guests of all ages. Next weekend, Moscow will celebrate its 878th anniversary, and the "ATOM" museum will join the festivities. It’s worth bringing the whole family to the museum; it will be bright, festive, and educational. On Saturday and Sunday at 15:00 and 17:00, guests can join a guided tour of the museum. Participants will learn how the Soviet atomic project began, about experiments in secret laboratory No. 2, the first nuclear power plant, and will get acquainted with the museum's extensive exhibition. All day on Sunday, visitors can play giant darts and football billiards (snookball) on the first floor of the museum, test their accuracy, and compete. At 14:00, guests of all ages are invited to a battle of brass bands, which will take place in the conference hall on the -2 floor. The ensembles from the "Maimonides Academy" and the Moscow Conservatory named after Tchaikovsky will present a vibrant musical show.
