Boney M sold over 100 million records during their imperial run, with "Rivers of Babylon/Brown Girl in the Ring" and "Mary’s Boy Child" both becoming UK million-selling No. 1 singles. Their album Nightflight to Venus also topped the UK Albums Chart, placing them among the defining pop-disco acts of the late 1970s.
