The project revives the tradition of balls in the Northern capital. Guests from different countries will gather in the column hall of the Presidential Library, with a program featuring a star concert, the debutants' presentation, dancing accompanied by a live orchestra, and more. This grand cultural project will unite the traditions of balls from the Peter the Great era and the Baltic Ball. The snow-white column hall will host hundreds of guests from Russia, Italy, Germany, the UAE, and other countries. The main characters of the celebration will be the debutants - students from St. Petersburg universities who have passed the selection. Participation in the ball was preceded by dance classes under the guidance of experienced instructors, studying historical traditions, music, and etiquette. Part of the evening will be a gala concert featuring artists from the Bolshoi and Mariinsky theaters, as well as the "Northern Symphony" orchestra conducted by Fabio Mastrangelo. Classical masterpieces will be performed by Sergey Skorokhodov (tenor), Timur Slanov (countertenor), Lali Khabalova (soprano), Sergey Roldugin (cello), Andrey Taranukha (percussion), Erik Mirzoyan (clarinet, duduk, piano), Deimante Taranda and Ilya Karpovich (dance). As per tradition, guests can expect dancing, including a midnight quadrille, and musical surprises. The evening will conclude with an exquisite dinner. Charity is also planned.
