These days while behind the scenes as a member of power pop mainstays Guided By Voices, he also fronts his own high energy project. A Grammy-nominated songwriter, Bare Jr.s style was shaped early by family friend Shel Silverstein, and it shows dry humor and real heartbreak sit side by side in his writing, backed by a loud, lean electric duo.
