The biennale offers a view of technological progress as an environment in which we already live. Here, projects created with the latest tools come together. The works provoke thought about how digitization affects memory, perception, knowledge, and everyday habits. Key themes include artificial intelligence, machine subjectivity, the city as a data system, the synthesis of nature and technology, as well as the future of the book and ways of preserving cultural memory. Some authors propose to envision a space where bots exist separately from humans, while others show how neural networks compile our digital portrait in real time.
