At the cultural center "Inspiration", viewers will meet the kindest heroes of domestic animation - Cheburashka and Crocodile Gena. The animated films about Cheburashka and Crocodile Gena have long been a part of the childhood of several generations and still bring smiles to viewers of all ages. The image of Cheburashka was created by writer Eduard Uspensky, who invented the unusual character with big ears for his book "Crocodile Gena and His Friends" in 1966. However, the character gained true worldwide fame after the release of the animated films by Roman Kachanov. The artist-designer Leonid Schwartzman contributed to the creation of his image, whose skill made Cheburashka so recognizable and touching. The screening program includes four classic films: "Crocodile Gena", "Cheburashka", "Shapoklyak", and "Cheburashka Goes to School". Each of them returns to the atmosphere of Soviet animation, where goodness, friendship, and humor are intertwined in simple and understandable stories. For some viewers, this is an opportunity to meet childhood heroes again, while for others - to introduce children and grandchildren to the true gems of domestic animation. Cheburashka is a character of global scale: he has become iconic in Japan and Sweden, and in Russia, he remains a symbol of kindness and friendship.
