Two premieres from the "Crown of Russian Ballet" Theater at the MMDM stage - the mesmerizing "Firebird" by Stravinsky and the thrilling "Scheherazade" by Rimsky-Korsakov. At the Moscow International House of Music, the "Crown of Russian Ballet" Theater will present two premieres - performances inspired by fairy tale plots and musical classics. The evening will open with a ballet to the music of Igor Stravinsky, where mysticism, heroism, and emotional depth merge. Audiences will encounter fantastic images from Russian fairy tales. On stage will appear the "Enchanted Garden," filled with the shadow of magic, the grotesque "The Cursed Dance of Kashchei's Kingdom," the lyrical "Round Dance of the Princesses," and the dance of the Firebird itself, embodied in dazzling, swift movement. The ballet based on the legend of the Firebird was first staged on the Parisian stage in 1910 and became a key moment in the career of the young composer. The story of Ivan Tsarevich, in love with the Princess of Unattainable Beauty, is filled with struggle, overcoming, and miracles. With the help of the Firebird's feather, the hero triumphs over Kashchei, destroying evil and resurrecting good. The final scene is an apotheosis of light and victory. In the second part of the evening, the music of Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov will be performed - a symphonic suite that forms the basis of the ballet "Scheherazade." This work will open to the audience the enchanting world of the East: nights filled with languid stories, exciting motifs, and exquisite dances. The choreography by A. Emelyanov conveys the musical sophistication of the suite and enhances the sensual intonations.
