The ballet of the National Theatre of Belgrade brings to life the iconic film "Who is Singing?". It will be presented in the choreographic interpretation of Staša Zurovac. At the heart of the plot are the events of April 1941. On the last day before the German invasion of Yugoslavia, a group of random passengers boards an old bus and heads to Belgrade. The journey is full of comedic situations intertwined with shades of tragic foreboding. In the finale, the characters face a bombing that turns the humorous into drama. This contrast makes the performance deeply symbolic - in it, every movement becomes a gesture of farewell and hope. Choreographer Staša Zurovac carefully combined the classics of ballet, elements of folk dance, and a modern language of movement. As a result, the audience receives a performance that sounds like a hymn of memory, yet breathes irony and lightness at the same time.
