If you feel tired, want to escape the city and recharge - it’s a sure sign that it’s time to head to Kalevala. This is the name not only of the famous Karelian-Finnish epic but also of a small village in northern Karelia, located amidst pristine nature, about 1000 kilometers from Saint Petersburg. Here you can hide in the atmosphere of northern coziness or rush on ATVs through the taiga - choose what suits you best, and these impressions will stay with you for a lifetime. A trip to Kalevala can be different. You can embark on a tour through the thickets on an ATV or meditatively enjoy the silence and solitude surrounded by untouched nature. For hundreds of kilometers around, there are no large settlements or industrial enterprises. Since 1998, «Velt» has been conducting author's recreation programs in northern Karelia. You can travel to Kalevala at any time of the year, choosing a format to your taste.
