The evening will unite five Petersburg artists, live electronic music, improvisation, dance, and images on the edge of a dream. At the Kurkhin Center, an evening is being prepared where five artists will meet, each of whom works with their own way of seeing sound and space. Here, the usual concert script is not important, but the change of states. The first act is connected with Mert Bindebir, a Turkish musician. He will present his unreleased debut album Lepnina. In the second act, Alena Essensid, Kirill Zadrutsky, and Ksyksty will search for form through improvisation. Their performance is built on the interaction of a toy synthesizer, drums, percussion, and trumpet. Such sound can break down into details, unexpectedly gather into rhythm, and again drift into the realm of almost dreamlike logic. Together with choreographers and dancers, Nikita Electiven will conclude the evening with an audiovisual performance where electronic music works in conjunction with the body and stage image.
