What did a social evening at the turn of the 19th to 20th centuries look like, when art, music, and dance coexisted? Guests can expect an exhibition, poetry, and dances that will help them see the familiar era from a different perspective. The evening will begin with a walk through the exhibition "Baron Stieglitz. The Feat of Enlightened Charity," dedicated to the legacy of the baron and his school. Visitors will be able to view a collection of applied arts accompanied by music, and then find themselves in the space of a social salon. Here, works by composers from the turn of the century, poems by Silver Age poets, and French symbolists will be performed. Professional artists from the International Association of Balls will showcase various dances and discuss how ball culture has evolved: from waltzes and quadrilles to new trends in ballet. Where to go in St. Petersburg will be told by KUDAGO.
