From September 5 to 18, the "Illuzion" cinema invites you to LAF: the Summer Architectural Festival - a program of films about culture, spaces, and people who changed the face of cities around the world. The festival has gathered films where architecture is presented not only as a profession but also as a way to reflect on time and society. These are not dry textbooks about buildings, but cinematic narratives about people whose ideas were ahead of their time and shaped entire eras. Screenings will take place at "Illuzion," where viewers will see architectural projects in detail and on the big screen. The LAF program reveals architecture as a language through which humanity speaks to the past and the future. The film "Le Corbusier's Plan: Buenos Aires" tells about the great master's attempt to rethink a city where European utopia collided with Latin American reality. The film "The Alphabet of Mangiarotti" introduces the architect and designer Angelo Mangiarotti, whose work transcends style and fashion, becoming a search for harmony between material and form. In the documentary "More than a Museum," viewers will see how the new Munch Museum changed the face of Oslo and became a meeting place for art and citizens; Anna Martovitskaya will speak before the screening. The films are shown in their original language with Russian subtitles. Each of them presents architecture as a way of interacting with the world: from the personal quests of masters to projects that change entire cities.
