Altın Gün will take the stage at Volkswagen Arena on November 13, organized by Pozitif Müzik, for the first Istanbul concert of their sixth studio album, Garip. Altın Gün fans will find plenty of the authentic Anatolian sounds they have been searching for. Having gained worldwide recognition with a Grammy nomination, the group is now turning its focus directly to its roots. The album Garip consists entirely of compositions by Neşet Ertaş. Considered one of the most influential modern-day Anatolian folk poets and musicians, Ertaş’s works are reinterpreted through Altın Gün’s distinctive sonic universe.
