Alicia Camiña presents El Jardín de mi Patio in a special format for Hotel Utopía accompanied by Julia Dueñas on piano and Jose Gómez on drums, along with some surprises. The saxophonist, composer, and producer from Seville, Alicia Camiña, presents El Jazmín de Mi Patio, a project that explores the meeting between contemporary jazz and flamenco tradition from a deeply personal perspective. Trained at the Conservatorio Superior de Sevilla and Berklee College of Music, Alicia has developed her own artistic voice in which modern improvisation, Andalusian rhythms, and the sounds of root music coexist naturally. Her work has been recognized internationally and has led her to perform on stages in Europe and the United States, establishing her as one of the new voices of contemporary jazz-flamenco. El Jazmín de Mi Patio is a tribute to the places, people, and memories that have shaped her identity. Inspired by the image of the Andalusian patio as a space for gathering and community, it combines original compositions with influences from flamenco, avant-garde jazz, and Spanish popular music. Each piece functions as a sound postcard that connects tradition and modernity through sophisticated arrangements, improvisation, and a marked melodic sensitivity.
