Alex’s signature blend of hyper-observant lyricism and infectious melodies is uniquely Australian, so much so that their sophomore album, <em>‘How To Grow A Sunflower Underwater’ </em>was once presented as an official diplomatic gift to New Zealand.</p><p style="text-align: center;">After a 2-year musical hiatus, Alex is returning to debut a bold new chapter. They spent their time away absorbing new creative dimensions, graduating from Cate Blanchett’s acting alma mater - NIDA - and expanding their foundational story telling skills onto the screen with a starring role in the new medical drama 'The F Ward'. This creative rebirth takes shape in <em>‘The Weird One’,</em> - an EP born from an unconventional, cross-continental hustle.</p><p style="text-align: center;">Every track was written entirely via Zoom, connecting Alex’s Sydney apartment with producer Jonathan Quarmby at London's legendary RAK Studios.
