In September, Moscow will once again become the capital of books: the Moscow International Book Fair and the Moscow International Children's Book Fair await guests and participants! Discover the exciting world of literature, meet renowned authors, and become part of unique cultural events! More than 300 publishers and book distributors from Russia and abroad are expected to present their new releases at this significant cultural event. The fair will delight visitors not only with a wide range of books but also with a rich program that includes meetings with famous writers, book presentations, as well as various conferences and seminars aimed at both the general public and publishing professionals. India will be the honored guest of the MIBF, with around fifty events taking place at the country's booth and more than 70 speakers participating. The program of the fair will feature well-known writers, journalists, and TV hosts. Experts will discuss the development of the biography genre, how books about first love are written, economics, new ways of human interaction, and much more. Presentations of new works by authors will also take place. A separate block will be dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory. Historians will present their new research and documentary books, including those based on recently declassified documents. Guests will also see authentic letters from the front, archival documents, and other artifacts from the past and present. The fair will serve as a platform for presentations and the announcement of winners of several literary awards. The long list of candidates for the Fazil Iskander International Literary Prize will be announced, the short list for the Kataev Prize will be revealed, winners of the VII season of the All-Russian Literary Contest "Class!" will be named, and nominees for the "Best Audiobook" award, established as part of the National Literary Prize "Big Book," will be announced.
