Bach B Minor Mass with Copenhagen Soloists Copenhagen Soloists perform Bach's B Minor Mass, a work considered to be the greatest and most significant church composition in music history. The work is among the last Bach completed in the final year of his life (1749) - a Missa Tota, a 'complete mass,' which would shine in posterity as a colossal summary of the Baroque church tradition, at the highest possible level. The ensemble performs the work in a soloistic format - with just 11 singers sharing the choir and solo parts, alongside an orchestra on Baroque instruments.
